BMW’s most powerful car is here. The German car-maker has announced its top of the lineÂ M760Li xDrive for the India market. Apart from being the first 7-series to sport the ‘M’ performance badge, it also features a V12 engine and BMW’s xDrive all-wheel drive system as standard.
The BMW M760Li is powered by a massive 6.6-litre, twelve-cylinder Turbo petrol engine that can produceÂ 601 bhp and a peak torque of 800 Nm. This allows the car to go fromÂ 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.7 seconds. The engine is paired to BMW’s 8-speed Steptronic Sport automatic gearbox and Â with BMW’s xDrive all-wheel-drive system, power is sent to all four wheels.
As for the design, BMW has given the car some special ‘M’ treatment with a special Sports package and design characteristics. The front bumper has been updated and includesÂ a larger three-part air intake.
There is also some chrome treatmentÂ both above and below the air intake. You also getÂ 20-inch M double-spoke 760 M alloy wheels, a new quad exhaust system with a pair of twin pipes,Â the M logo all around and of course the V12 badge.
The interiorsÂ are as luxurious as the outside as you get aÂ headliner in Alcantara design, door sill finishers in Aluminium high finish with illuminated V12 insignia. You also getÂ premium wooden inlays for the seat-belt outlets, armrests and roof handle in the rear, as well as a BMW-style leather-wrapped steering wheel.
